Device Drivers

Your system cannot operate with at least some devices attached to it. Fastmatics has a number of built in drivers and allows end users to add their own devices, while using all of the services of the Fastmatics software. In addition Procerius, Inc. will add devices, under contract, to the program on an as needed basis.

Here is a partial list of the vacuum system devices that have support in Fastmatics through a simple drop down menu configuration.

The above are supported through serial port operation, DeviceNet operation is available through Omron PLCs or through ethernet to DeviceNet adapter on a project by project basis.

It is always a good idea to call to verify device compatibility, manufacturers occasionally update communication protocols, the serial port interface has a communications viewing portal so that the communication can be viewed and logged for debugging.
