Recipe Designer

The Fastmatics recipe designer is a very powerful process control development and execution tool.

Control of the system is first designed into a set of control panels, by the programmer. The control panels are configurable by the end user in terms of layout and function.

The recipe execution runs on a step by step basis where at the beginning of each step any number of control panels may be initiated to perform signal settings or to run scripts.

The control panels themselves are screen representations of a relational database so the data entered by the recipe designer is stored for future use. It is possible to edit the recipe while it is running to make real time adjustments. The recipe execution engine reads the database entered by the user and uses the typed in values as arguments to the scripts written.

Recipes may be of any length and any script can be called as part of the recipe.
